ASMBS Foundation LEAD Awards Preview

Fall is an exciting and busy time of year for the ASMBS Foundation. This November, the ASMBS Foundation will host its second annual Gala & LEAD Awards during ObesityWeek in Las Vegas. As we take pause, I invite you to join us for an evening of celebration as we recognize the Foundation’s achievements and honor members of our society. Together, we will share a toast in appreciation of our gracious donors who have allowed us to continue serving our mission and the members of the ASMBS. We will also present this year’s LEAD Awards to those among us who have shown outstanding leadership and dedication to our society and the field of metabolic and bariatric surgery, for, without their commitment and devotion to this field, we would not be able to further our mission to improve the understanding of obesity and bariatric surgery. AWARE; meaning Awareness, Wellness, Access, Research, and Education, is our new monthly giving program designed to support our mission.
