Medicare Announces that it will Now Pay for Obesity Counseling
WASHINGTON, District of Columbia (MedPageToday.com and ABC News)—The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare announced that it will pick up the tab for obesity screening and intensive behavioral counseling.
CMS, which first floated the obesity coverage plan last September, said it expects more than 30 percent of the Medicare population to qualify for the new benefit. Read the rest of this article »
